The Up-Stream Marketplace will offer Up-Stream delegates the opportunity to meet with up to twenty five regional disabled and Deaf artists over a networking buffet lunch. Artists will introduce delegates to their work, present their marketing material and share some of the motivations behind their work and aspirations for the future.
Up-Stream will showcase the very best of engaging, contemporary live and visual art works presented across Brighton made by disabled and Deaf artists.
In the build up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London 2012, Dada-South spotlights eleven artists and companies producing extraordinary and stunning artworks in the South East. Up-Stream will present work at a variety of venues across Brighton providing a tasty menu of delectable delights ready to inspire, challenge and surprise. Up-Stream will feature Gary Thomas, Noemi Lakmaier, Juan DelGado, Freewheelers Theatre Company, Project Artworks, Oska Bright Film Festival, Sally Booth, Charlie Swinbourne, Jon Adams, Deaf Men Dancing and Colin Hambrook.
